About my time at Rochester PDII spent my time as a dental office assistant and absolutely loved it! I spent a whole school year at this office, it was an amazing experience. I learned so much and I am truly blessed and grateful to have experienced this opportunity. I have gained so much knowledge and learned a countless amount of things while I was there. I met so many amazing people, and worked with an amazing staff. I loved all my coworkers and created a bond with each and every one of them ( I worked with about 20 coworkers on a daily). I was accepted and treated like a daughter to most of my coworkers, but to the ones closer to my age are my mentors and great friends! I was surprised to know I would be working with that many people in a day. I rarely dealt with customers, but when I did, I always made sure they had a great experience and made sure to always be polite and stick to the motto, "the customer (patient in this case) is always right!" I did get a good feel of how it would be like to one day potentially become a dentist. However, I am still stuck in which path in the medical field to take. I can now put on my resume the things I have done at this office and that I have worked at such an amazing office. After the first semester of the program, I slowly moved to the back with interest of a clinical setting and that was the only thing I would have changed at the time... Now I am all set! :) No Archives Categories
